choose your own ending

when you swipe a credit card, you know you have to pay up eventually, but you want what you want (or maybe circumstances made you feel like it was necessary). The bill comes at the end of the month and you have been notified that someone has paid the debt- the ridiculously big sum- in full.

You have two options. You can reject their payment and try to pay it yourself; or you can accept the debt that was paid on your behalf.

sinning is like swiping a credit card. the debt that run up by doing it is one that is astronomically higher than you can pay, but Jesus paid the debt in full on your behalf when He died on the cross for all of our sins.

the choice is the same. you can accept the debt that has been paid for you or reject it and try to pay it yourself.
